For an improved detection and monitoring of cardiovascular and neurovascular diseases.

The objective of the SPCCT project is to develop and validate a widely accessible, new quantitative and analytical in vivo imaging technology combining Spectral Photon Counting CT and contrast agents, to accurately and early detect, characterize and monitor neurovascular and cardiovascular disease.

This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 668142.

Opening up great prospects for the future of photon counting imaging.

At the interface between medicine, biology and advanced technology, the project involves the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, Philips, Mathym, University of Torino, Voxcan, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Cliniques Universitaires St-Luc, Lyon Ingénierie Projets, King's College London, and BRACCO.
